POWER SUPPLY:  12 to 36v DC, only draws 8ma in standby mode, 100ma active when making call or in listen in mode. Operates from any 12v battery, solar charger or mains 12v 1A adaptor.

BACK UP:  Internal 450mah lithium battery will provide up to 24 hours of standby operation if power is cut or fails. A POWER FAILURE TEXT  MESSAGE will be sent to users if power supply fails.

SIM CARD: Operates with any contract or PAYG 2G with 4G mobile phone sim card eg EE,VODAFONE,O2.

MICROPHONE:  Supplied with 2 meters of cable, must be installed in sheltered location if used externally. Can pick up coversations at a distance of up to 8 meters.

LOCATION: If a location text message is sent to the module it will reply with its exact location any where in the world which can be viewed on google maps on any mobile phone or tablet.

SET UP: Phone numbers to be alerted can be set up, added to and removed by sending a text message to the  module.

ARMING: The module can be set and unset by text message or hidden on/off or key switch.

ACTIVATION: To activate an alarm condition, a 3 second input is required from any type of normally open N/O sensor, switch or alarm panel relay. 

THE ALARMALERT DOES NOT NEED ANY FORM OF INTERNET  CONNECTION TO OPERATE AND THEREFORE CAN NOT BE HACKED INTO.

MAINS 240V PLUG IN 12v POWER SUPPLY   £16

Stabalised 12v 2A 240v power supply to power up to 5 Alarmalert modules and up to 10 universal detectors, for constant operation when not using a battery supply or control panel. A power fail text message will be send to users if the power supply is unpluged or mains power fails.

SOLAR BATTERY CHARGER 12V 10W    £28

Can be used with any lead acid battery above 7A.

With out a solar charger  a 7Ahr battery will give  up to 6 weeks operation using microswitch sensors or 9 months operation with a 45Ahr battery.

One PIR sensor connected to one alarmalert module will give 2 weeks operation with a 7Ahr battery or 3 months with a 45Ahr battery.

For long term applications it is advisable to connect the solar charger if no mains power available.

RUNING COSTS:

Each time the Alarmalert is activated it costs aprox 60p to alert all 3 users using popular pay as you go sim cards.The sim card needs to be activated (tested) 3 times a year to stay live.A £10 PAYG sim card should last up to 2 years if only minimal activations are expected.

If frequent activations are expected, we can supply a 1p security SIM CARD for £30 per year which includes 3000 texts or mins, giving over 50 activations a week, ideal if module is to be set and unset via text message. Uses EE network, texts cost 1p each if more than 3000 per year are needed.

Also £6 per month contract sim cards with unlimited texts can be used.

The Alarmalert sim card does not use up any credit when a user dials in to monitor the microphone.
